The SDAF mission is to bring the San Diego Community and Surrounding Area together by providing Cultural Focused Educational Activity and providing High School Students with financial support as they start their journey into the College experience.

The parade is filled with dazzling floats, phenomenal High School Bands, Drill Teams, Colleges / Universities, Fraternities, Sororities, Churches, Peace and Youth organizations. In partnership with the San Diego Alpha Foundation, the Zeta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc hosts this annual holiday ball to support its educational programs and college scholarships for San Diego students.
